Buildory Terms of Use

Version March 30, 2026

These Terms of Use explain the basic rules for using Buildory. They are written to be readable and practical. They are intended as a solid first product draft, not as custom legal advice for your specific business.

1. What Buildory is

Buildory is a project workspace for makers, hobbyists, builders, creators, and similar users. You can use it to organise projects, sections, build logs, BOM items, notes, photos, files, and related project information.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account, your login credentials, and activity that happens through your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep your password secure.

If you think your account has been accessed without permission, you should change your password immediately and contact us.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Buildory to upload, store, share, or distribute content that:

  • is illegal, fraudulent, misleading, or infringes someone else’s rights;
  • contains malware, harmful code, or material intended to damage systems or data;
  • contains sexual exploitation material, extreme violence, threats, harassment, or hate content;
  • violates privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights;
  • uses the service in a way that abuses storage, traffic, automation, or security.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you upload to Buildory. By uploading content, you give Buildory only the limited rights needed to host, process, back up, display, and transmit that content for the normal operation of the service.

You confirm that you have the right to upload the content you add to the service.

5. Storage and service limits

Buildory may apply plan-based limits such as project limits, section limits, section depth, and storage limits. These limits may differ by account type and can change over time.

6. Availability and changes

We try to keep Buildory available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may improve, change, suspend, or remove features when reasonably necessary.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create security risks, abuse the service, or expose us or others to legal or operational harm.

You may stop using Buildory at any time. Deleting an account or project may permanently remove associated content, subject to any legal retention obligations we may have.

8. Privacy

Buildory processes personal data needed to operate the service, secure accounts, send transactional emails, and support users. A separate privacy notice should explain in more detail what data is processed, why, and what rights users have.

9. Liability

Buildory is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunity. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow that.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify users through the service or by email. Continued use of Buildory after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Contact

For questions about these Terms, please contact the Buildory operator using the contact details that will be provided in the app or on the website.
